Roblin Park is thrilled to announce the grand opening of our brand new playground. A Huge Thank You to Jackie Cunningham, Tiny Tots Director, for her hard work at generating the funds and managing the installation of the play structure. Come and enjoy the new swings, sandbox and structure.
Do you want to make a difference and build a better community this fall? Are you feeling a desire to try something new? Step up and become a member of the Roblin Park Board of Directors. The Board is an enthusiastic group of volunteers committed to ensuring the Centre’s philosophy and objectives are achieved. We have the following positions which we urgently need to fill:
It was a great spring season. We had 7 teams competing for medals. The 15yr old boys coached by Mark Kliewer captured the gold medal. The 11yr old boys coached by Tom Crew were also crowned champions. The 12yr old girls coached by Jason Balness lost a 1 point thriller and captured silver. The 14yr old boys coached by Ted Spencer also suffered a 1 point defeat and settled for silver. Overall it was a great season for Roblin Park Basketball. Thank you to all the coaches and volunteers that make it happen every year.
Please mark your calendars and plan to join us this weekend for a working bee at Roblin Park. We will be completing a major restoration of Rink 3 (“the shinny rink”) as well as painting of the rink boards on the other rinks. We will work from 9 am to 5 pm. Join us anytime during those hours. We’ll need all kinds of help. Watch for further updates via email and on our web site. For further info, send an email to
fix-roblinpark-rinks@mts.net.
